would be a very light punishment compared to what I’m thinking of when it comes to SPAMMERS. Once again I’ve been forced to put up barriers to legitimate posters to this site, all to weed out that scourge of the earth, that scum that is lower than a snake’s belly, the spammers. I’ve been flooded in the past few days with literally a few hundred (I know, it could have been thousands) spam comments on this site. While all comments are moderated, I still have to clean out the dreck left by these poor excuses for human beings, and run the risk of missing real comments from real people while I’m at it.
So, effective immediately, anyone who wants to post a comment to this site must first register at the Typekey site. This free service provides an online ID that can then be used to post to most blogs built using MovableType software, and should hopefully greatly reduce, if not eliminate the bogus comments left by those unfit to inhabit the online world.
To signup, click on the comment link below and then follow the signup link to get your own Typekey ID. No personal nformation is required; requiring a Typekey ID is simply a means to block the automated posting of SPAM. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
