1 C butter
1/2 C granulated sugar
1 C packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 cup toasted and chopped walnuts
Cream together butter and sugars with electric mixer.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
Slowly add flour mix to butter mixture, beating on low speed.
Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts by hand.
Spoon 1 Tbs. at a time onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 9 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
I tried this recipe last week. Very easy to make, my daughter & I had fun making & baking them together. Cookies were really very good. I went a bit bigger then 1 tbs, when spooning them onto the sheet pan for bigger cookies. We will be making these again. Thank you for posting a good recipe!
