We went to Estes Park Colorado for a few days to celebrate Sheryl’s birthday and just get away for a short break. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing trip and naturally I took a few photos.
This first batch was processed the day we arrived. I planned to post the next day but woke up to a dead computer! While I got a cheap replacement to use the rest of the trip, it wasn’t until I got home that I was able to rescue the first set of images.
We were in eastern Colorado, heading west on I-70 when a severe storm crossed our path. I took these shots from the relative quiet of a rest area.

We took SR7 to Estes Park as the quicker route, 36/66, was closed due to road construction. These photos show how raging the waters were this spring!

Nice mountain meadow view outside of Estes Park.
