I managed to get in two bike rides during a recent visit to Colorado to view the fall colors.
The first was a decent length ride in Aurora, similar to a ride I did a couple of years ago. (Same trail, just didn’t ride quite as far.)
The second ride, while much shorter, was unique in my riding experience! Starting at our hotel in Snowmass Village, I rode to the bottom of the hill via the Brush Creek Trail.
Dropping 600 feet over the course of 2.4 miles, around curves and bends in the trail, while reaching max speeds of 27 miles per hour, was exhilarating!
I did, however, stop to take pictures of this likely once in a life ride and my favorites are shown below.
