In late 2010 the Lindsborg Community Hospital remodeled their main entrance lobby.
The hospital has a history of displaying art (mostly paintings) by local artists, including some by their own staff.
So it wasn’t a big surprise that the decision was made to use photographs from the Smoky Valley as one of the elements of the redesigned lobby.
It was a surprise, and I was honored when their head of marketing, Betty Holwerda, asked if they might use some of my photos. She had found them on Flickr, and highlighted a large selection that her team then whittled down to a set of 15.
I approved their choices and prints and frames were ordered.
They’ve been on display since December of 2011 and are at the time of this writing, still hanging on the walls of the lobby.

I love looking at every single photo posted on the hospital walls. If I had the money, I would buy almost every one of them. Great eye for photography!
Thank you!
Can you give me prices for purchasing some of your photos? Thanks!
