Living close to the edge of town, and having a cat highway (dry creek) in our back yard, we see a fair number of stray and feral cats up on our deck. I’m a softie and I don’t mind feeding them a meal or two as most don’t stick around very long or only come around very intermittently.
Early in March, Aiko (previously known as Snowball) came around. I fed him, but he was very skittish and wouldn’t even approach the food until I had left the area.
He kept coming around and after a few days, he started getting friendly with me.
Well, to make a long story short; we adopted him a couple of weeks ago!
